Rob Grissom

Rob is the tech guy on team Cycling 360 and a USA Cycling Coach. Rob brings his lifelong love of cycling and his insights into training to help Cycling 360 listeners with training and fitness concerns. Rob is having a blast working with his co-hosts in getting Cycling 360 up and running.

Rob returned to cycling with a vengeance 10 years ago after spending time working on his career in IT. While cycling had been put on hold shortly after entering college Rob made up for it by becoming a rock climber. Rob spent the next several years with his girl friend and now wife Kim, traveling to places such as Red River Gorge, New River Gorge and even Yosemite to climb sport and big wall routes. After a few years away from climbing and having a couple of great kids Rob decided it was time to return to cycling after gaining more weight than he cares to remember. After riding and racing for 10 years in KY, OH and IN he took up coaching where he is the owner of Positive Performance Coaching. Positive Performance Coaching offers coaching services to recreational and competitive cyclists of all levels.

When Rob isn’t with family, coaching cyclists, training and racing he can be found behind the keyboard of a laptop as an IT Consultant. Rob has been a graphic designer, web developer and project manager for such companies as Keane, Lexmark International and CompuServe. Rob has also had the pleasure to work with Navistar, Cummins Engines, Brown Forman, Fortune and Rolling Stone Magazines while working in the advertising and online industry.

At the end of the day Rob loves cycling ever since the training wheels came off the bike at age 9. If you want to catch up with Rob he can also be reach at twitter.
